三天没有食物和睡眠，抬着受伤的战友，遭受着痢疾和疟疾的困扰，他们走出了丛林，但也已精疲力竭。但当他们得知伊苏拉瓦就要沦陷时又竭尽全力重返战斗。
该电影源自一个真实的故事。受到澳大利亚战斗精神的启发。
