Ryu（申河均饰）是名聋哑青年，自父母去世一直和姐姐相依为命。在特殊学校里，他遇上了装作失聪的女友（裴斗娜饰），二人感情发展不错。可是姐姐却患上了绝症，需要移植肾脏以维持生命。
他本想通过黑市以自己肾脏换取适合姐姐移植用的肾脏，却遭诈骗，损失自己肾脏外，还被骗去所有的钱。当有合适姐姐的肾脏时，他却没有医药费。女友提议他去绑架有钱人的小孩再索取赎金，并说这种绑架不算是罪过。
