◎简　　介

　　许怀谷（许冠文饰）专职为人算命，但他实际上不过是预先搜集了客人的资料而且利用了客人的心理，被人称为神算。税务局局长夫人疑心丈夫有外遇前来占卜，竟然让许怀谷猜中了疑似局长情人的名字。局长遭到妻子责骂后，决定派出评税员邱浩基（黎明饰）调查许怀谷的收入。调查期间，许因为头部受伤得了超能力，接触到别人手脚便能看到对方的将来。浩基为了升职便要求许怀谷接近商人洪森，希望能找到他瞒税的证据。开始时候洪森处处回避，当知道许怀谷是个神算后，便重金礼聘二人。浩基借此机会彻底调查洪森……
