简 介
改编自美籍伊朗裔小说家Dalia Sofer的同名小说，设拉子是伊朗第六大城市。故事讲述上个世纪八十年代初伊朗伊斯兰革命中一个犹太商人家庭的悲欢离合。1979年伊朗伊斯蘭共和國成立。在新共和國成立幾年後的一天，一位珠寶商人Isaac Amin 因被認定是一名擁護猶太復國主義的間諜而被逮捕，這完全是個不實的指控。當他必須學習應付拘留所的生活時，他的家人──他的老婆、他的九歲女兒和他的十八歲兒子──卻活在悲傷之中。他們必須學會調整自己的心情適應新的世界，因為他們過去熟悉的環境已經徹底瓦解。
