简 介
迈克尔(汤姆•汉克斯 Tom Hanks 饰)是美国芝加哥一个黑帮老大鲁尼的养子，他一直是鲁尼得力的左右手――帮派中令人恐惧的杀手“死亡天使”。迈克尔虽然杀人不眨眼，但现实中却是一个温文尔雅，烟酒不沾的好丈夫、好父亲。他的两个儿子一直都不知道父亲的职业，直到大儿子小迈克尔12岁了。一天他偷溜进父亲的汽车决定探知父亲的职业。
小迈克尔目睹了一起杀人案，他的行为也被帮会知悉了。帮会怕他走漏风声，然而迈克尔却以“他是我的儿子”为由保证他一定不会走漏消息。然而，迈克尔的妻子和他的小儿子却遭帮会误杀了，他们本来的目标是他和小迈克尔。父子两开始了亡命天涯和复仇之路!
